    I searched high and low in Western Australia (to no avail),,then an article appeared in a 'mainstream rag' pin pointing a bloke in Gidgegannup W.A. who had sourced seed from the CSIRO and was now set up as a producer...selling plants as well as fruit.
    He reckons the Asians rock up at harvest time,,oodles of them day tripping from Perth to pick his crop and pay well for it.

    This plant is 'tagged' as a must have for my place ("Desert on Hold");
    It can take the climate (arid and hot);
    the fruit drys and self preserves on the plant;
    it is a rare commodity in this state and there are many Asians, therefore markets ( a couple of hours away in Perth).

    I 'think' Eden seeds (eastern states) may have seed available.
    This W.A. chap is a Mr. Dawson of Gidgegannup...I have my order in !

    p.s. he also has 43 different varieties of figs!.....which needless to say 'I want'. ...
    Yes all 43 varieties else how will I know which ones were worth having? This means I'll have to do paid work (again,dam).

    regards, Kimbo
