    considering how many forests are being destroyed i think a
    lot more progress can be made by encouraging countries
    to better protect the ones they have. the practices of farming
    converted land add a lot of CO2 (along with the many other
    problems of land/water/air quality and species losses...) and
    encourage poisoning.

    we really need people to stand up for what little remains.
