    G'day jubuntu :)

    Welcome to the forum.

I have no idea of where you are situated, so the following may or may not be of any help to you.

Hundreds of large glass jars (Fowlers Vacola) are available at our local 'tip shop' (Eaglehawk, Victoria, Australia). I think they sell for $2 each.

Good look with the preserving. Don't forget to tell us how you get on.

    Hooroo, Mark.

Cafes are sometimes a good source, but often they have thrown out the lids I think.

You can buy new jars and lids at

    https://centre.net.au/Fowlers_Vacola_Pre ... 0064P.html

    or

    https://www.bakeandbrew.com.au/category23_1.htm

The jars are rather expensive and you are best off looking in secondhand shops, garage sales, boot sales, farmers markets, etc and tip sites that recover and resell items.
I do have another link for lids but can't find it at the moment. Deep litter filing system
Here it is, they are very good to deal with.

    Have fun,

The problem is that when you finally tidy up you can no longer find anything
