Hope you find some material stashed away in your 50yr pile. expect to see some new outfits being modelled soon
Yeah I saw it and immediately went and watched another episode of Grand Designs. There's a whole bunch I haven't seen before on at the moment. LOVE that man…. Are you cleaning out physical crap or metaphysical crap? (I have recently learned you can't do the former without a bit of the latter any way…. My house is slowly starting to breathe lighter and the boxes in the garage hopefully contain only the most precious and useful things I own.) How are the hormones? Are you sure it was a real deer and not a spirit deer coming to send you message? Pecanfu - ROFLMAO!
knock knock? been away due to troubles with the phone wires (cable in the ground goes a long ways through many yards and they all have planted things and sliced through it with their shovels...) finally back to working again and seeing what's up? so what's up?
Helen's been quiet lately too. I've finally finished the house cleansing and am getting photos done tomorrow so I can list the place for sale. Yay! I get my weekends back so I can garden again! Though it does feel odd to think that someone else will probably harvest what I plant.
Awww ... you are SO sweet eco ""Helen's been quiet lately..." is the sweetest euphemism anyone has ever used to say "The crazy bit@h has dug another deep black hole & is hiding, licking her wounds again." I think I died this time ... I think I really did. Man, I hope so. There are only so many times one can rise from the ashes without ending up looking like a chimney sweep rather than a phoenix (Don't panic - I mean died to the old me, shed the last of my tight & painful skin, not died died ) Anyway, I just found this, & wanted to post it for kimbo. Seeing we both just live in our remote-location-spacestations & don't have any real friends, I don't have anywhere else to contact him ... well not anywhere else he bothers answering when I holler anyway :/ So kp, if you're out there man, this is for us I thought you'd especially love the first bit - given it supports your Frith theory & all https://vimeo.com/70534716 PS: Hi eco, hi mouse, hi mischief, hi Altamira, hi gandalf, hi songbird, hi Terra Missed you guys (((xox))) So what's the goss? How did the fishing go Terra? I guess mouse is in deepest darkest Africa by now? You gotten rid of all that white stuff yet songbird? I don't suppose kp has stumbled by lately?
kp ... this is for us Meant to title that last post "kp ... this is for us" - just in case he happens to glance our way ...
That bit kinda confused me :/ I prefer the word 'connection" ... to me that means something authentic & sincere & organic. Maybe they were using it as a pun on an internet connection? So no ... for me, it's about wanting connection, not a conversation
welly, well, well, well... : ) look who's popped by! : ) : ) : ) no more white stuff on the ground around here. too much rain recently though and that's been slowing me down along with a hand/wrist injury. yet i did get to play in three gardens today for about an hour before the rains returned. : ) haven't seen any peeps from kp. a few new pictures of peepers in my system topic. (xoxoooooooOOOOOooooooX) glad to see you back.
Mmmmm ... thanks for the hugs & kisses I'm a bit short on them, so much appreciated So, is rain better than snow??? Bummer about kimbo ... sigh ... Off to check on the new pics I guess you'll have some awesome new spring shots of your gorgeous flowers soon Say hi to your Mum for me
you're welcome. : ) this time of year, rain is much better than snow. with the strawberries blooming i don't want any more frosty weather. i'm way behind on getting pictures taken care of lately. i'll get to some of them eventually. if we get more rainy days i'll get after myself to do it. how have you been enjoying your new sewing machine? have you given it a name yet? : )
Wayne and Batman, Clark and Superman, Helen and Kimbo…. Just saying…. You reappear after a break and so does he. I have never seen the two of you in the same room at the same time… I doubt if ANYONE ever has. Don't try to deny it, it'll just make me more sure I'm right.
Good to see you back Helen missed you , fishing went well , ive been out locally twice this week the waters cooled down and the King george whiting and Calamari is coming in , its one of my vices gutsing squid , its fantastic , now even Linda W recommends squid as a sustainable catch so im not ashamed . Hope this post works ive been around just cant do much online, youngest Terras going on a European holiday and has used up the monthly allowance so the damn computer is on the go slow , screen freezing all that stuff I cant deal with , 4 days and I will be back in the game .
Got our computer fixed heres a first the fix it man actually fixed something , the graphics card had a leaky capacitor , new card , this and that $75 dollars terrific . Getting used to this throw away mentality but it still bothers me .
Does this fix the issue? Not sure why the thread got closed… They do that sometimes just to give us Mods something to do.
I saw this a while ago & couldn't reply & was too lazy to start a new thread. (I guess you noticed I got motivated to start a new thread when I got cold? ) I feel for you with the young adult person using all the allowance thing. I've had 2 young adult persons here the past few months who are only still alive & walking because I gave birth to them. You know when you see magpies beating the hell out of the fully grown baby magpies??? I feel their pain. The parents that is, not the babies! Amazing how time & life stage changes ones perspective
I want the one top middle for my next house : ) It's so cute : ) View attachment 2641 Has anyone here ever lived in an underground house? I was reading my Designers Manuel yesterday ... page 360 ... it says: "I think there is nothing so peaceful as a cool desert cave with a domed ceiling, the rock trimmed nicely flat, & a sense of safety & silence." That appeals to me. I'd like to experience that cool, dim, safe silence : ) I dunno about a cave though ... I think I'd be a bit nervous about being underground. The idea of being able to just carve out a new book shelf or couch whenever you need one seemed pretty exciting though : ) Hell, you can add on whole rooms if required! : ) Geez - now I come to think of it, you could create a whole other living space!, connected by a corridor - & banish all young adults & their appalling habits & tastes & noise to that! What a sanity saver that would be : )
You could even manage to get the connecting passageway to cave in once they were installed in the new wing….
