I am new to this website and to seeking out volunteers. We are starting from SCRATCH on land that has only been used to harvest pine trees in the past. We are starting at the beginning with little capital but big plans.

How is the best way to find those looking to help others get started and get their hands dirty without a $10,000 price tag attached? I am not saying they are not worth their money, we just do not have it.

Have you looked into the "willing workers on organic farms" ... WWOOF resources? wwooflatinamerica.com might be a good start and there are other international wwoof organizations too.

HelpX is the hot site for wondering workers. Not necessarily permiculture people, but there's an army of help out there if you sift through carefully. Many traveling people looking for work exchange have moved from the wwoofing site to HelpX as the wwoofing one charges a separate search membership for each country they're traveling through.

    Good luck with your project!
