Maya Mountain Research Farm (MMRF), in southern Belize, is looking for a volunteer or a couple to live and work at MMRF for a period of one year. The volunteer(s) would be responsible for implementing projects that the board of directors and staff of MMRF and the volunteers decide is a priority, as well as assisting in the day to day operations of the farm.

The position is unpaid, but provides all food and lodging. Transportation to and from Belize as well as visa costs are the responsibility of the volunteers.

We are looking for PDC graduates, and have a preference for people with international experience in developing countries, though this is not mandatory.

This is a splendid opportunity for someone interested in tropical agriculture who would like to plug into an ongoing project on a well developed farm.

Interested parties should contact us through our web site or PM on this board.
