    g'day ho-hum,

i saw a reoprt on super weed created in the wheat belt in wa, that was oh i dunno 10+++ years ago, the use of glyphosate in increasing strengths, had created a resistant rye grass weed, and the final of the report was that nowhere in teh future could they see any treatment that would conquer the weed. apparently some of the problem can be blamed on farmers not doing the right thing and indiscriminate use of the spray, for which they dressed up like spacemen to mix it and spray it, wonder if they gave any though to the wider community and spray drift??

anyway the big sting in the tail for gmo's was always going to be resistant weeds and contamination of wild plants by gmo x-pollination. all of which they keep denying would or will ever happen.

As the article says, the bigger problem is when they bring in different chemicals to control the resistant strain'.

They'll end up using agent orange and say... its safe in small amounts, when used according to the label... where have i heards that before ?

Glyphosate is from the Organophosphorus family (bilanafos, ethephon, fosamine, glufosinate, glyphosate, piperophos).

Agent Oange is a dioxin which i believe is closely related to the Phenoxy family (2,4-D, 2,4-DB, dichlorprop, fenoprop, MCPA, MCPB, 2,4,5-T)

They're concocting some nasty cocktails of herbicides and are calling them "Rescues Treatments"
    such as this.

    Direx 32 oz/A + Valor 1.5 to 2 oz/A + MSMA 2.67 pt/A or Glyphosate 0.75 lbs ae/A:

Still have a pinch of Glyphosate...just for good luck.

Wonder what other gifts Monsanto will give the world next?
