Na bollocks, I'm calling it for an L series Fender Stratocaster which is a very nice vintage axe (that is really truely what musos call their guitars  ) but is ain't a semi accustic. (and it's red which is a very un-cool colour for a bluesy, folky, laid back finger picking slide player like myself). Peavy Weavie (another muso joke)
We have a black, Samick ( bought for son to learn on, now lives here) semi acoustic (is that what you call an acoustic that you can plug into an amp?) will that do?
Hey Stephen with a ph, hubby and son both have red strats and they like playing bluesy, fingerpicking stuff!
Red strats are fine reall, lucky you, having 2 player in one house. I am fortunate enough to own a Dobro and a vintage Takamine accustic I love them both like children and get great joy from playing them. I think the best gift you can give a child is teaching them about music, it gives a lifetime of pleasure and happiness. Sw/PH
Here you go... If you are using Windows XP https://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... rtoys.mspx Download the IMAGE RESIZER tool.... once you install it... you can right click on any picture/s and resize them... to either set sizes or to a custom size such as 80 x 80....

You guys are funny  Anyway back to the topic. Maybe we could have "Sticky" threads?? Maybe "Tips and things I learnt today", "Tips for Newbies", "Books".
I think from what I have seen so far Tam, that it's a thread which stays at the top of the list. Theres one in the 'Jobs, projects, gigs, courses & training' section.
