Aloha Everyone! I haven't been on this forum in years, but it's now time. My partner and I are seeking to be realistic and proactive concerning the situation in Fukushima...I'm from Hawaii, and am very sad at the prospect of leaving my beautiful home, yet also excited about the adventure... seems wise to relocate somewhere south of the equator. So far I hear Ecuador and Uruguay are pretty cool, and I would VERY much appreciate ideas of where it is pleasant to live (semi-tropical preferably) with a decent government, where land isn't too expensive with nice beaches and a permaculture community of English speaking folk...though I do look forward to learning another language. I very much look forward to hearing from anyone with ideas!!!! Thank you!!!

I was going to suggest Australia until you got the decent government and not too expensive bit!
