We will be keen in the future. But this is own first year of planting and seed collecting. So it might be wise for us to "experiment" at home before sending seeds around. We are currently letting brocolli, Bok Choy and radish seed at the moment. Hopefully these don't cross pollinate??
Hello I have heaps of Madagascar beans from crops gone by. I also have a selection of different strains of pidgeon peas and a reliable yellowy orange chilli. There are heaps of others I am growing now, but so far these are my ultra relaible staple seeds that I would be happy to give to anyone who is interested. Sean
we try to save our seed but I am not really up on the non hybrid/hybrid thing but we only buy seed initially from an organic source usually Bay Seed Garden so would they be all non hybrid ? tezza what are tree onions ? also what is the situation regarding getting seeds from the eastern states ? someone told me they are treated so I avoid them .....eg Eden seeds frosty

Frosty My definition of tree onions are ...I think so anyway.... Onions that grow little onions on top of plants stalk they grow about 2..4 i think i just let mine grow by emselves..there so easy Tezza both be ready after xmas new year
Frosty, According to their website https://www.edenseeds.com.au "Our seeds are the old traditional open pollinated varieties and have no chemical treatment, and no genetic engineering" If your still a little worried, Eden have also branched out with a seperate certified organic line of seeds at https://www.selectorganic.com.au. I have generally been pretty happy with the service and product I've bought from them, and I've bought a fair bit. Joel
Tezza, put me down for some tree onions, please. I'm a mad keen seed saver, including trees. Not sure what you can grow s.e. WA. Is it frost free? i have most sub-tropical plants, including quite a few unusual ones. bushy
