Hi, I have aquired a 70s model stovetop Fowlers Vacola unit, but Im in need of the instruction manual to go with it. the new guidelines for water bathing (which is what a stovetop unit is) is to process your foods at a gentle boil. there are several sellers on ebay selling fowlers vacola. personally i prefer the seller that goes byt he name of ozfarmer australia. they have a really good range of preserving equipment and excellent knowledgeable customer service.
