Sawdust use ideas....?

Other than in the compost, what are some ideas for using sawdust when you have an endless supply. It's being used for pathways already. After some interesting ideas or any ideas really.

Yeah, that's a good one but I am in the city. I can't wait to make one on the land one day.

 

Why can't you have one in the city? (assuming you have a section)

 

Oysters mushrooms cultivation. Oysters are the weed of mushrooms...very easy to grow and very tasty.

Taming your indoor composting bucket.

If you are in the city, and dogs poop on your yard, rather than scooping, cover with lots of sawdust.

While I don't generally like sawdust as a mulch (acidic, allelopathic qualities, carbon sink sucks up N) research has shown that raspberries prefer eight inches of sawdust over any other kind of mulch.

Once you have plenty of it around, it seems to find a lot of uses.

 

Bag it and sell it. Rabbit, guinee pig owners will buy it by the bale. Not jarrah though - apparently guniee pig urine reacts with it and gases them.

some sawdusts are MUCH better than others. What kind of sawdust are we talking about here?

 

give itto us. We are searching for sawdust for having a "men's toilet" it would be a good fertilizer with urine. Or on the paths between the beds.
