Its awful nice to be able to share ideas using the internet technology , next best thing to a meet up maybe? But in some ways maybe better ? There is a Vancouver , British Columbia permaculture meet up group and I never go because our life here is full of permaculture living and projects day in , day out , so I have plenty to work on here and I can't see driving two hours to attend when I could be doing something here that needs to be done. Ludi, you are really growing in your efforts, results and I thank you for sharing them on the net and being an inspiration.
NOTICE: a personal photo is no longer required to join SA Permaculture Meetup. Please let me know if you have any trouble joining and I'll try to figure it out.
I enjoyed your pictures of the tea gardens, did it give you any insights into how you want your pond to function ?
The Tea Garden was very different from what I expected, for one thing, much larger! The ponds are almost like small lakes or lagoons, in the bottom of the old quarry, with steep sides, down one of which cascades a waterfall. I'm certainly glad I went, but there wasn't too much I can translate to my relatively tiny pond project. Very interesting place though and I recommend it.
