Has anybody taken Joe Polaischer's Permaculture Design Course at Rainbow Valley Farm? How'd you like it? I was glued to an interview with him I heard a while back, but want to make sure he's as great as he sounded before I go to all the trouble and expense of going to NZ for a few weeks :)

    Thanks!

    G'day,

    Season's greetings to you all.

First of all I will be a guest instructor for a couple at Trish & Joe's PDC this March, which I am really looking forward to. Their place is just fantastic and one of the few examples of a more mature functioning Permaculture system that exists anywhere....I have not done a PDC with Trish or Joe but I have had the pleasure of spending time listening to them first of all back in 2000 when Bill Mollison and I were teaching a PDC together in Tasmania and then again last year at the Taranaki Environment Centre PDC in Inglewood (advertised here as well). I'm not going to suggest which course in NZ is better as I'm working on both and the both have their individual merits. What I will say is that they are quality people doing quality work on a fantastic site.

    Maybe we'll see you there....

    Ciao,

    Darren Doherty
