Hi all, my name is Mark and wish to introduce Purple Pear to the forum. We have a small farm in the Hunter Valley in NSW where we run a Community Supported Agriculture scheme from a Mandala market garden. We also run Permaculture courses and courses in sustainable living. Have a look at us and let me know your impressions please. We are at https://www.purplepear.net.au
Re: Purple Pear Organics I like your site Purplepear. It's inspired me to get more organised. I'd love to see a few more photos of your mandala garden too. Are those photos recent ones or do you have more advanced photos? Keep up the good work Grahame

Re: Purple Pear Organics Thank you MA I would love to keep you in the loop. You can subscribe for regular updates using the button at the top of my NEWS & EVENTS on the home page of my website https://www.purplepear.net.au We have the introduction to biodynamics in October then we take a break till the new year to work on our education centre in time for the new year when we will be looking to do mud brick and straw bale construction as infill for the edu cntr walls. We will also be doing more on sustainable living such as preserves and cheese making and of course 3 PDC's in 2010. There is of course the farm tours if you get a few (5 to 15) from PC north and make the trip but I better get off before this starts to look too much like spam. regards purplepear intent-observation-intuition
Re: Purple Pear Organics G'day Really good looking, easy to navigate site, well done. And good work on the development of your property, looks great, a great advertisement for your classes etc. Very interesting your initial scepticism re Woodrow's sytem, and impressive that you went back and decided to give it a go - and that it seems to be working. Really hope that it takes off for you, good luck cheers
Re: Purple Pear Organics Thanks gemill it is encouraging that the local media is taking a big interest in what we are attempting as is local council to some extent. Farm tours are increasing - on Saturday we had over thirty come through ( mainly permies) and yesterday we had a bus load of people from the Anglicare retirement home! The kids from the local Stiener school came and sang and played their recorders and we had a great day proving the it is not all about education. I hope we can now move forward with the education centre to make hosting this stuff more comfortable for all. You feed back is thankfully recieved. regards
