The Gold Coast is putting some new requirements onto a development site, including life boats and 3 days supply of food. Yet they still insist on building on a floodplain. If this wasn't serious it would be laughable. https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/qu...-lifeboats-emergency-food-20130719-2q9km.html
Sent the link out to my (planning) colleagues earlier; just got one response back: Lifeboat city- they should build an ark and make it a playground attraction until needed
You mean, 'Professor' Palmer's Titanic II: https://bluestarline.com.au/ May all who sail in her... um, er... I forget...
That's the one. The good ship Lollipalmer. Imagine how many community gardens you could start with that money. You could even build a pretty swish alternative energy generation plant.
Life boats and three days food hmmmm , how about houses built on houseboat pontoons and securley moored with stand alone solar power and roof gardens thats more like it .
