i would really like information about keeping animals that you don't kill, especially cows (and goats). i know that the main thing would be not letting them breed indiscriminately, but what else? my friend told me he had a whole plan for keeping cows, written up by bill mollison himself, for a krsna farm in australia. the temple president ripped it up cause he considered breeding regulations blasphemous? it would be nice to learn more about this sort of approach to animal husbandry, i know that animals can be far more valuable alive than dead if you are smart about it...
Re: permahimsaculture? Do you just want to know more about raising animals and managed breeding programmes? If so, visit your local library and see what books they have. Mine has lots on the topic.
