Anyone looking to establish a permaculture group in South Jersey. I have been trying to start my permaculture journey and have been having a hard time finding like minded people. I was finishing my PDC with Geoff Lawton last night and he made the statement that if there is no local group someone has to step up and do it. Granted I have little to no experience in this kind of thing but thought I would throw it out there. We could share ideas, community and work on projects togethor.
    any takers

Kick it up! You're talking southern New Jersey, right? Post yourself onto the Worldwide Permaculture Network (https://permacultureglobal.com) to start. Let folks know you're out there. Start a Permaculture "meet-up" in your area ... an easy way to find other interested people. Once you find some other Permaculturists, try a monthly study group. I know a bunch in Spokane that have a highly successful gathering that coincides with the full moon! If you have the means, put up your own webpage. Google offers this for free and also their Google+ feature. Even facebook can be helpful in finding like-minded neighbors.

Part of finding others is to put yourself "out there" to be found.

Vineland NJ in the heart of the Garden State. Although, I am surrounded by gmo corn, soy, and canola. Searching for a decent job so I can have a massive yard that I can transform into a permaculture FOREST!.
