    Hi everyone:

Wanted to shere with you the beginnings of our permaculture-aquaculture project in Las Palmas, Chile. Nueva Alquimia (new alchemy.) Las Palmas is a valley located in the center of the country betwwen the capital, Santiago and the coast. It boast a unusual mild microclimate with four seasons. For our purposes the valley has never had pesticides and posseses an abundance of water for a mediterranan climate.
    Attractions for guests anmd volunteers.
The valley is lovcated between a national park and the largest native palm trees reserve in the country thus we have outsanding trekking, pools and waterfall. We do Vinyasa Yoga and technical rock climbing. We are an our from the nice becahes via public transportation.

The area has recently been discovered as a international destination for healing, ecolodges, etc.
With a recently acquired land. our interes is to develop a food self sufficent environement with aquaculture and a land restoration (native trees) and cultural preservation process in association with the local population.
We already have a cabaƱa for guests, workshops and volunteers and are working in the main common building and the aquaponic system.
