Peanuts for my chickens and ducks - harmful?

I've got a big bag of peanuts in the freezer. I don't like them. I don't want them in front of me any longer and i was just thinking of throwing them out when i thought about feeding them to the birds.

Does anyone know if peanuts - roasted and unsalted - would be harmful?
