    The 72-hour lecture/design exercise series includes:

    - Ethics, principles and patterns within permaculture
    - Mapping and planning a permaculture project
    - Details and strategies for ecological living
    - Trees and other plants; forest gardening in a temperate climate
    - Soil structures, living and mineral
    - Climate history and microclimate analysis
    - Water design solutions
    - Animal management
    - Architecture and sustainable infrastructure, with functioning examples
    - Social permaculture
    - Ecological entrepreneurship
    - Plenty of practical experiences and exercises to support the theoretical sessions

    The course consists of 72-hours of lecture, plus a practical session or design exercises each day. Participants also get a day or two off to enjoy the natural surroundings and many interesting touristic destinations in the area.

    The arrival date is Thursday 15th of August (the yearly Kosovo village festival), departure is Sunday 1st of September.

    There are beds available in the traditional stone mountain house as well as tipi camping. We have a lot of land, so you are welcome to bring your own tent and sleep in the forest as well. Beds in the house are on a first come, first serve basis.

    We run a compost toilet system for which all participants are required to help keep clean.

    We are solar-powered, therefore, we need to be mindful of our use of electricity.

    We have a solar shower, as well as a wood-heated boiler indoors.
