So we have just left behind our old farm in an area where it snows.....For 8 years we have used no chemicals or petroleum based fertilizers. We have recruited animals and bugs to bring our farm closer to the sustainable ecosystem we believe it should be. During those 8 years we were introduced to Permaculture and Permaculture Principles. We have experimented on our farm with many Permaculture practices....and our farm is just beginning to show it's potential as a sustainable paradise......Now we have bought a new farm in a warmer area. So begins our new adventure. We have bought a Cut Flower farm that has oranges and lemons on it as well and are planning to make this our new Permaculture paradise. Please share with us your new beginnings to inspire us on our new journey. We will keep posting our successes and failures (hopefully not many of the later),
Welcome CGF, what a beautiful place! I read recently here on the forums about a unique biome in S. Africa called fynbos (actually one of many). As I look at your photo, I see logging in the background forest and a high degree of diversity on your place. Off to a good start! Looking forward to your updates.
