The offending forum will be left out of this discussion, and it isn't this one.

I do have an odd issue. There is a forum about permaculture in the US, one which I post, or used to post on, that I keep seeing is just giving bad information constantly. =(

I have seen it champion the use of hybrids and GMO crops, I have seen it literally go against several tenets of Permaculture especially with when it comes to helping other humans, and today I read it giving incorrect information on medicinal crops.

I have tried to talk to the owner of the site, but like many 2 leggeds, power corrupts & it falls on deaf ears. So, I want to thank PRI as being a beacon of light in what is fast becoming a front line for healthy food.

I want to thank the staff here at PRI, Bill M, Geoff L, M Fukuoka, S Holzer, E Hazlip, and every single Permablitzer that comes here to learn, has helped teach, and / or keeps the good fight going.

    Thank you.

Anyone who touts the successes about GMO's has their head up their arse and best left alone, after a stern earbashing of course.

I would think the way to counter the promotion of GMO's etc would be to post information on the site that might perhaps raise questions on the veracity of the information provided.

Yes, Mollisson, Fukuoka, Holzer and Hazlip are Permaculture beacons.

This wouldn't be the same forum that's (in)famous here for being pro-lawn ;-)

I really want to see the GMO thread now, lol.

Actually, you can call it whatever you like. However, a wiser person would come away from this realizing that they should pay attention to the threads and posts made championing one way or another on non-PRI forums.

On the flip side, I recommend some chamomile tea. ;)
