hi grease thanks for the message. >For my two cents worth, if it aint broke don't fix it. that's what people said when i proposed splitting off the "Jobs, projects, gigs, courses & training" and the "Buy, sell, trade, give away & exchange" subforums. i think most would say that the forum works better *with* them than it would without them.. why? because things are better organized. m.
Is it possible to have however many sub forums but have one that shows the current/latest threads.....maybe add something that indicates which sub forum a thread belongs to. So that when someone logs in they can either go into a particular sub forum (animals...plants etc) or just go into the current/latest threads....an icon on each thread could then be clicked to take you to the appropriate sub forum. Does that make sense or am I rambling?!
https://forums.permaculture.org.au/searc ... d=newposts Murray that is a new posts link I believe what C.O.C. is referring would bring up a list of all topics for the last day or week with the hottest at the top and the coldest at the end Ohh can I have a forum name "MEDICINAL... sign the waiver and enter at you own risk..." might wanna split that into treatment of symptom, cure, folk remedy, paliative terminal comfort, western,TCM, naturapath, plants, other(animal hypnosis bits etc always wanted a forum like this and this and it could be the first
Point taken. Murray your doing a great job! You have navigated this forum this far extremely well. I only ask that you don't take it to far to fast. 8)
G'day Murray and Everyone Yeah...Grown, Built and World Things suits me. the simpler the better IMO. Break them up into sub-groups if you wish, a fews clicks and you have what you want. But please leave the chronological (last entry first) format the way it is. It does seem the easist and fairest way to navigate through the site. Keep up the great work! Mark.
