    I'm helping to host an Oak field day at Kentucky near Armidale on 22 March
    Bill Funk Australias leading Quercophile will be in attendance

    62 species of Oaks ( free acorns)
    Many other tree based things to see (well managed agroforestry system)
    Any permies attending welcome to tour my place either before or after

    Hey Andrew, are any (all?) of the oak species native to Australia? I've got one oak we're nurturing along ... would love to get more going here.
    Does Bill have a method of germinating acorns you could share?
