Greetings Schaf, Although I live on 21 acres and have many large beds, I always have potted tomatoes, peppers, and such on the patio near the kitchen ... kind of my version of a zone 1. Often the potted plants get the most care and are the happiest! There's even a potted fig tree that has to come inside during the winters due to temperatures. Do you have any potted trees amongst your patch?
