This project is in its feasibility phase and is looking for fellow permaculturists interested in becoming a part of the community as it is developed.

Any feedback on rural property development for this kind of community project would be more than welcome.

Please email me if you would like to find out more.

Do you have the land yet or are you looking for land? How many people are involved?

    Hi,

Are you tapped into the permaculture network here on the Coast?
    What's the plan?

    Cheers
    Sonya

    Hi Sonya,
We have investigated the Crystal Waters community structure and would be aiming for a similar (not identical) structure. We are loioking for people who want to be involved for the ground up in establishing this from organising the co-op, purcasing suitable property and developing the community. We are looking for committed people who feel they could contribute in a co-operative environment thereby ensuring that the whole process will be inclusive, efficient and cost-effective.
If you have futher questions re dettail please feel free to email me.

I also emailed, and just got a response a couple of days ago, with an apology that he had been very busy, so be patient there, Sonya. I think the project is very much in the conceptual stages...

    Hi Bark...

Check out the ecovillage I've had a little bit to do with over the last few years.

Lot's of good stuff on what you can acheive by fulfilling a dream.

    Goodluck with the project.

    Cheers Kathleen

    G'day barkhumpy :)

I would just like to reiterate the sentiments expressed by Kathleen: Hold onto the dream, and work hard into turning it into a reality. I too have some experience with the consultative phase of IC development - we've been working on our own for about 6-years now. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

From the description of your aims, some other projects you may wish to have a look at are:

    Cape Paterson Eco-village (VIC)

    Aldinga Arts Eco-village (SA)

    Fryer's Forest Eco-village (VIC)

    Good luck with the process,

    Mark.

    Thanx for all the encouragement!

Any other sites to attract attention to the project would be great. I am sure there are many like minded people out there who would love to be involved in this type of community.

    Thanks again.
