    Hyper aird, sup-tropical region. Full sun all year round.
    Hi, i am a permaculturist from Doha. trying to work out ways to create a sustainable, conscious way of life, food prodocing method in our hyper aired region.

    It is extremely challanging but i love my country and welling to bare with it. I hope to figure out a way to create a perfect sustainable fromula for our region.

    I Joined to meet and learn from more people to help each other out.

    I applaud your willingness to pursue this project. With an annual rainfall of approx 3 inches/75 mm, I see your focus will be on capturing and holding as much of that water as possible. This will include such strategies as providing shade, protecting the soil from evaporation with mulches, and improving the soil's moisture holding capacity with composting. I'm sure you've seen Geoff Lawton's work in Jordan's Dead Sea area, so we know it can be done.
