Haven't yet tried this out - but it sounds interesting -

Researchers from the Australian Rivers Institute, Dr Wade Hadwen and Dr Samantha Capon, have created a mobile phone app (CERCCS) which provides critical information for anticipating how climate change may impact on coastal Australia. The app summarises the findings of a large project examining projections, impacts and adaptation options for coastal Australia, which was funded by the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF), with the intent of enabling the public to easily navigate through heavy science and make decisions about the growing climate change threat.
