I am currently editing a video about colony collapse disorder. This isn't a hollywood movie, this is just one of my youtube videos

    https://www.youtube.com/paulwheaton12

I have video of an expert on colony collapse disorder and lots of really good info. Unfortunately, the video is gonna need a lot of editing and I can use pictures to cover up the edits.

I need some pictures of bees and honey.

A picture of comb foundation would be good.

I could use a picture of a bee feeder.

I could use a picture of a massive orchard.

I could use a picture of a truck hauling a whole bunch of hives. Or even a few dozen hives in one spot.

I could use a picture of mites on bees.

These need to be pictures that I could get permission to use: so either you took them and you give me permission, or they are public domain (and I've already spent hours looking for public domain stuff).

    Any help?

Not sure if any of these are what you want, but you're free to use these if you like. I could arrange photos of foundation, honey and a bee feeder if you like. Sorry, no mites and not much chance of catching the bee-truck as they've disappeared back to Spain til spring.

    Burra,

A permaculture instructor emailed me a pic of hives on a truck - so I'm set for that one.

Somebody from NCAT/ATTRA sent me links to pics of bees with mites that I can use. Plus not just pics of comb, but pics showing the different size of comb - which is the thing being talked about!

Why do you have all of those hives in a coniferous forest?

The two pics that would be really good now are the pic of a massive monoculture orchard and of a bee feeder full of clear sugar water.

    Craig,

I have a few pics like those already - so I'm set in that space. Both of those pics are so close you can tell they are free of mites! :)

How high up does the clothesline go when you crank it up? I once had an aussie tell me that they would go above the rooftops and later I learned that that was a long ways from the truth.

All those hives aren't mine! Only half of that forest was pine, the rest is eucalyptus, which is what the Spanish beekeepers are after. It's stuffed full of pollen which they collect and sell. The pollen traps weren't on the hives when we took photos, but that's what's being collected. It was the closest photo I had to a 'massive monoculture orchard'. I think my other half is planning to feed his bees soon as he had me making up sugar solution this morning so I'll see if I can organise a photo for you. You want just the feeder or one of it fitted to the hive? And do you want the photo without the lid on so you can see the sugary stuff inside?

Yes! A picture with the bag of sugar and the feeder getting set up would be great. And then another pic with the feeder in place!

OK, I'll see what we can come up with. It might not be today, and it might be the boys taking photos not me, but we'll organise something for you.
