Hi Everyone, I am currently researching the care and requirements of various farm animals and the art of pasture management. I have read that mixed grazing increases the overall health and production of a pasture. I have found a website for an organic farm in Vermont that mixes pigs and sheep in the same pasture and from the photos, it looks like Geese have been added too. My question is, can most species of farm animal be mixed? If not does anyone know the beneficial combinations of animals and which combinations to avoid? Are there any other factors to consider such as aggressive territorial male or maternal female behaviour? I say 'most species' because I have read that Chickens and Turkeys don't get along...
