I received my ballot (mail-in in our county) that includes initiative 522: Label GMO Food Products. Washington state is at the tail end of a contest to require labeling of GMO food, a measure which has failed in a number of other states, ostensibly due to last minute media blitzes by GMO corporations. Hopefully it will pass here and begin the "taking back" of our right to know what we're eating.
