    Greetings everyone,

Been a bit pre occupied latly ,what with xmas, new year, familys etc
    taking up time......

    Here is the News..........................

On/Or about the end of January early febuary, a mate and my self will be setting off on a trip around Australia.Leaving West Oz and heading easterly first to S.A. and all states except Tazzi, over a period of 3 months,we would like to visit other permie places, to exchange information and maybe set up a travelling permie Documentry on our travels.
What i am looking for is somewhere to put our bus during those nights on the road, just somewhere nice, and a bit of power and chance of quiet nites sleap
in exchange of my/our knowledge.....We dont need a bed ,just somewhere to park our van/hi lux.......I would love to catch up with everyone in here,if possible and maybe we can open up our chat board a bit to cover our Historic Journy. For everyone who we visit will be included in our documentry about Permies in Aussie, and maybe even collected for a documentry (home made) on "permaculture on the road"...
We are hoping to visit everyone who offers/or wants a visiter or two,but if demand on our time is strong it may only be a days visit/or a matter of few hours....It depends on You and Our timing......

We dont have forever just 3 months and want to visit every where we can,
even those hidden areas,And would love to try someone in every state.

Would also be prepared to teach or give help with any problems you may have.....We could be in position to barter if needed but.maybe just a spare place to park our van, will suffice....A bit like woofing, but not as serious or anything heavy duty like working for a bed n meal........
All though we are open to any suggestions,

A bit about us were both in early 50s both from the 70s,Both are nice well spoken guys, with lots of knowledge to share, and we find that this maybe our last chance to get around as age is catching up with us both...We both feel that urge to go on this trip,as soon as possible and hope that maybe we can come up with a few places to stop off and share a cuppa or two.
I could be persuaded to bring my guitar along if enough of you want to jam along too..Ill even bring along all my Permie video tapes if you want to watch them(including...in grave danger of falling food, and the global gardener) and many hours of my own places(that should please the insomniacs amongst us) lol.

Im sorry,we cant do Tazzi,Maui or Belize, but maybe another time...
We did both want to visit peru chris but finances dont stretch that far this time..Would love to spend time overseas......but.....

Now i dont have much time before we go but would appreciate a bit of feed back as soon as possible so as to work on an itinary before we leave,
after we leave we may not get a chance to post on the board so news may be a bit thin but am hoping to.Post our adventures on the board as time n towns with internet cafes allow.

Hoping top hear from ANYONE whod be interested in Free Permaculture lessons, and the exchange of mutually satisfying ideas....

    Yours In Sincerity

    Tezza
    and Lucky(thats his name)

    Tezza,

Off on a Great Adventure, are we? Its a shame Belize isn't a part of Australia, so we could have you visit.

It sounds like a wonderful idea!

Have fun! What a brilliant idea!

    C

PS, do check in, time to time and give all of us here updates? Please!

    Tezza,

I wanted to append somt houghts to this. This isn't just a great idea, it is a wonderfully great idea. I am jealous! I am ready to join you, um, except for all of my work I need to do... and I have no money... and all sorts of financial commitments... and time constraints... and I am not able to attend...

Tezza, you are a unique and wonderful, and very, very lucky human being! If you should decide to float your boat to Belize, my doors, such as they are, are always open to you....

    Your Great Adventure sounds wonderful.

    Central Victoria stop over.

    What a wonderful adventure Tezza!

Glenn and I would be more that happy to give you and your mate (what's his name?) a little parking space and a meal - perhaps in exchange for some guitar lessons :D

We are in Central Victoria, west of Castlemaine, south of Bendigo. Let me know if we fit into your tour plans.

    Cheers,
    Fran.

an over seas trip isnt part of the eqation this time, maybe next time...

What we/I would like is to visit with or just call in to say hi to everyone, not nessary to stay just a visit n a cuppa,we wont impose on anyone ,i promise,..

This is a bit like a "one last trip" a "Discover Australia" or "AN eye Opener"
    A"Spiritual Journey" a sort of ................

Our Reason........Wel im 52 in march Me Mate Lucky(excuse he hates his first name been lucky since a kid)will be 51 in march...Hes just recently seperated
and I (bored and lost in the country) have this desire to see Aussie,Just as in ,like Simulerly to the movies....Two Dissaliousioned near Pensioners on a missision,To spread the word about the world to those in our part of the world

Me Ill be doing the Land side of things ,like we chat in here,Lucky will be the visiting expert on Financial matters and Fruit n Veges,
Hes my most inspiring convert to Permaculture,Hes a ex big buisness person,ex Liberal party,ex capatislm cheif, and ex president of young Liberals here in the west.....Now hes a new man who fights for the people n planet,...

    What we want to do........
What we want is to see the great aussie outdoors, the good bits ,the enviromentle bits of the country, the people who want to fix the country, visiting people who care, visiting Permies, and spreading the permie word, and filming the permie word and maybe putting it down on video and making a documentry on our trip, with those who we meet,as members of our documentry,a sort of "whats going on in Aussie in the new millenium"

Dont be shy about having us call on you,We dont expect full bed n board..
I would just love to catch up with some of you, even those who i havent met before,Dont be put off by the fact of 2 strangers invading your houses,we dont have to stay,in some cases we will have to keep moving, other places we can spend a night or 2 we have open timetable,
well 3 months is our limit but no dates have been set to finish,
We want to meet everyone we can from this board,Even Muzza,Id also like to meet up with Huristics,if hed put up with me.... (Tam n Tully,Corny,Veggie Boy,Ichy and anyone else ive not mentioned).Ill help you with your composting matey.....Unfortunatly Frosty n Joel wil have to wait until our trip is nearly over, as will be turning left at my place and heading to SA first then up thru to Queensland ,NT then down west coast back home gain

So to everybody get your names put down for your visit and well see what we can do.I dont care if i dont know you, well still call in for a coffee or two
...This is about Spirit......"A Sprit Of Co operation"A record of Permies in Australia helping Permies in Australia....We are also looking for those who maybe into the Spiritual side of things,Anyone out there who is spiritually minded who can help us out.were looking for any sacred sites we can visit
or special places we can stay at/in.We intend to visit some of the old growth forests like the Atherton table lands,Daintree forest, any and everthing.we can rough it so were not fussy,or particular.

Thanks to those who have expressed a desire to see us,your names are locked in as we get closer to a start off date well be in contact to finalise any details on times dates etc then.but we still want to meet more..

    Till my next post

    Tezza,

You and Lucky are welcome to stay with us on the Atherton Tablelands if you make it up this far - or we can show you free camping if you prefer.

Sounds like a great idea for a trip.

Hi Tezza. We're in Strathalbyn, S.A. If you are headed to Victoria via the coast you'll go past our turn off about 50K out of Adelaide. Love to see you for a cuppa, a meal or a stopover, just let us know what ever works for you.

Suggest you take the inland road to Cairns from here...up through Roma Clermont...take a look at Carnarvon Gorge on the way.

Come back down the coast to Brissy or head to Darwin across the top from Cairns.

July/August/Sept is the best weather in Cairns...no cyclones and less humidity....the saying Gone Troppo is true for the north in Summer..heat humidity and rain...bloody lot of it.

Will most likely have a place for you to stay in Brissy...but Bazman or other brissy permies might make an offer.

I am really enjoying reading this. Whay a cool idea and how nice for Tezza to have so many wonderful people open their doors! I wouldn't have commented again (I am almost as excited by this as you are, Tezza  ), but Fran, I loved the gothdoll name... and just wanted to say I love it!

Tezza, looks like you have a busy itinerary in the making!

    Fran,

I hate to repeat myself, or reveal my deep long distance admiration (I might even say attraction, but that could be invasive of your space, overstepping boudaries, so I won't even say that) for your beauty, etc, so I won't say that you look absolutely the epitome of feminine perfection, in a goth stylee. No, I will also not say, again, how not only are you drop dead goth gorgeous, which you are, or that Glenn looks like, but much more attractive than Tom Cruise. So I will spare you al of that, and merely say that, yes, gothdoll suits you.
