I am wondering if anyone has some pinto peanut available for sale/ swap? I have tried to get them through green harvest and some agricultural supply stores but they are all out of stock. Can anyone help?

Permasculptor gave me runners a few months back and most of them survived transplantation and are starting to take off. I think all the other stuff survived too thanks mate.

Did you get the innoculant or what did you do for that? I've got a tiny bit of pinto peanut growing but not with innoculant and so i don't think there will be any nodules but it is a nice plant.

Nah I just chucked it in and hoped for the best. Hopefully it'll acquire the right stuff on it's own. I wanted it as a ground cover though so as long as it covers the ground I'll be superbly happy. N fixing would be a bonus!

Maybe one day when you meet someone else who has it growing with nodules. YOu could get a barrow of soil and put it all around. I guess I should aim for pinto peanut here in the long term too. I am not sure how well it will handle the dry season though. Here it can be pretty intense some years. But anyway this year for me its lablab.

Thank you so much permasculptor! I really appreciate your generosity. My plant requirements are sooooo many and varied I would feel to greedy to ask :) Thankyou once again. Hopefully soon I can share some surplus also.
