Wow... thanks for posting about frappr as it's exactly what I was proposing as my website idea. You can enter your full address and it will find it for you. I'll send a message to murray about adding it to the site.
oh ok that was quick, i thought it was gonna be tricky to set up but hey, your the man yeah, please do, he may find it a bit gimmiky but i think it's a good start, it could then be a good header for what beherit proposed, by then adding a dedicated forum wih the states ect. from memory i think it was umm, tezza that mentioned a state by state thing, it didn't get much response, maybe murray didn't see that post, I first thought it may break up the forum too much, sort of like pidgeon holing people into seperate categories, but now i understand what you's mean that aventually it could become a real plus for the permie inclined, could even mean us city folk could have a little bartering thing going, like if the dude up the road has too many tomatoes, i could swap him for a few pumpkins ect, sorta what they do in the sticks.
Yeah... I'm a geek ;-) My feeling is the state by state thing is too broad. Dividing it by local government area would work.
Jodi, If your talking about the frappr map on Monty's website you're already registered. Not sure about the PRI forum page. It was fine when I adjusted settings before. Wayne
Monte, I could get the site to recognise my 'pin' but couldnt register past that point. Any suggestions?? floot
Ah sweet! Thanks Wayne. We thought it wasn't working because the avatar wasn't fully loading and then I didn't appear on the scroll down menu on the side. I guess you can't see your own. Hey we're up to seven now! Hi Richard and Jason!
From what I saw of my own, you should appear at the top of the list. Initially I didn't have a picture. Added one in, so now my photo is at the top of the list.
Jodi You should be able to click on your icon and edit your profile to add an avatar. Floot What do you need the pin for? They sent me one by email but I cazn't see where to use it.
Hey guys - I got the impression, the last few times I visited Melbourne, that Melbourne already had a really really active and cool permie group. It seems to me that at our Sydney group we are always being told about amazing cool interesting and change the world stuff the Melb permie group is doing? I dont know how to contact them, as well I didnt think I would need to. anyone?
