Listeroid with ST Alternator and lots of spares. It has never been set up and started .......... we bought it from the guy who had it sent over here but also never got it going ........... unfortunately what he did do was strip off most of the paint so he could inspect the quality of the casting........... it would have cost him a lot to get over here but he sold it to us for $1400 Now it has been sitting in our shed for a few years and hubby just cant find the time to set it up .........plus it is minus a taper lock ........ if anyone is interested make us an offer we are near Lancelin 130km north of Perth .........pm me if interested
Hi Frosty! Wish I was close enough ... I'd buy this in a heartbeat! For anyone who doesn't know about the Lister and Lister-clone "hit-and-miss" diesel engines and their use for power generation, check out these links: https://otherpower.com/fuking.html https://www.utterpower.com/listeroi.htm (this is not Frosty's Listeroid, merely a pic of one from the website above to show what they look like ... note the handcrank for starting!)
Thanks for posting the pic and links 9anda1f ! ours does look just like that minus the paint ( but it was green ) and that vertical tank ........ cant quite work out if that tank is fuel or water cooling ? ozlisteroids site is https://www.ozlisteroids.com/
Hey Frosty, I had to do a bit of reading to find it, sounds like the green tank is for cooling water: He also says he's looking for an old cast iron radiator to replace it so he can heat his shop!
