And for Queensland, Australia residents, you have the ability to do a lot of that, and for free supplied by the Queensland Government. Not to the same detail but worth getting started with. Requires an active internet connection. Basically, download Google Earth, install it, and double-click your previously downloaded QLD Globe.kml (https://www.dnrm.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/file/0020/100568/qldglobe.kml).
