    Cool link. Thanks for that!
I'm in Ireland (mid-West). And, yes, last night was scary. Power went here at midnight, came back 11 a.m. And we were lucky - there are still thousands of households without power of the 70000 that lost it last night. Winds of up to 150km/h (93 miles/hr) lashed the country overnight and early this morning along with heavy rain. There was another big storm before Christmas leaving thousands without power for the festivities. The shelterbelts we planted from the mid90s onwards have proven their worth once again. Our polytunnels are still standing as are some rather flimsy chicken coops.
