Being a child of Flower power times I was 13 in 1967 in England ...I often look back in amazement and think!!!!! what happened,
why did we stop loving, why are we still killing.I think my generation has let this fragile planet down in a big way..Actually I think we did a great job.So good that we got swamped for the last 35 years by a slick working media and gready polititions..plus our own ineptitude.maybe all those drugs stuffed everyone up..Where are yesterdays Freedom Fighters.

The answer my freinds is BLOWING IN THE WIND ...The answer is blowing in the wind.....

By the way I tied The IQ test much to my surprise and a bit of guessing i got an IQ of 115.How they can tell how smart you are by deciding how certain pictures are same/different etc is beyond me........

    Maybe they should ask .....
your in the middle of the road....a red car is driving at 100klms per hour straight at you....do you move...Stand still and admire the bonnet decorations...shit your pants or step backwards....

Or You find some vegie seads in the cupboard, do you A sow them, or B
    throw em away....

I love this board And i never ever intenionally set out to abuse any one in here for their thoughts ...ok

as usual I arrived too late

regarding the 'type" of people who are breeding .........

what is better for the future of the earth

people who put money and status first and thus are well trained consumers ?

or those who put family first at the "expense" of money and stutus ?

which also seems to show that IQ and academic learning does not necessarily equate to "intelligence"

    frosty

who doesnt fall into either category having decided not to go to Uni and also not to have children

but I did also decide not to be a consumer

and BTW we never watch current affairs or take much notice of corporate media news either TV or print ......... they all just feed people propaganda

Yep noisy buggers aint they

Old Nostradamus yeah i know him well.......pity hes got it all wrong, or
someones changed the dates/years.......Im allways waiting on his pope predictions....because i think .......That humans being humans if he was any good or acurate.some would try to prove his unrealibility ...or simply rearange the worlds calenders......Can/does anyone here know how acurate these sorta things are?..They can be changed altered at will. especially if no ones alive from when they changed it.....maybe the dates have been changed...maybe 2000 hasnt got here yet..But the east verses the west bits are alive and shooting, oops kicking.

If our trouble is comming from the middle east as nostra asserts maybe we all should move to say china then the middle east would then become the middle west .....problem solved .. So to you eastern staters your now, the near western ozzies we here are the far western ozzies :?: :?:

All the media stuff thats been said,is this brainwashing and hanging out to dry.now it brings it back inside to fold away, watching TV......Theres a lot going on.When did you last here a real genuine possitive news headlines.

Somehow i think the only reasonably good bi, was old bobby geldof and fellow musos, but the bombs 2 days later totally stuffed that goody goody feelings anyone had............

natural selection ...............bird flu......dont spend too much on ya chooks folks.....hey joel sell me a fingerling please anything..

    Tezza.......

This was finished 7 hours ago i forgot to post/submit this

This poem came accross my desk and I thought that it would fit into this thread. Please note that the following is not my opinions but I did think it was funny  is that wrong

I cross ocean, poor and broke,
    Take bus,
    see employment folk.

Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare.

Welfare say, "You come no more,
We send cash right to your door."

Welfare checks, they make you wealthy,
    Medicare it keep you healthy!

By and by, I got plenty money,
    Thanks to you, Australian dummy.

    Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them 'come fast as you can.'
They come in turbans and Ford trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks

They come here, we live together,
More welfare checks, it gets better!

    Fourteen families, they moving in,
    But neighbour's patience wearing thin.

    Finally, white guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,

"Find more aliens for house to rent."
And in the yard I put a tent.

Send for family they just trash,
But they, too, draw the welfare cash!

    Everything is very good,
And soon we own the neighbourhood.
We have hobby it's called breeding,
    Welfare pay for baby feeding.

    Kids need dentist?
    Wife need pills?
    We get free!
    We got no bills!

Australian crazy! He pay all year,
    To keep welfare running here.

We think Australia darn good place!
Too darn good for the white man race.

If they no like us, they can scram,
Got lots of room in Pakistan.

   Quje. Then you get people like my 78 year old friend who looks like she's going to lose her farm cos Centrelink's cut her pension following her husband's death. She wouldn't mind moving to something smaller, but what other neighbourhood's going to put up with her 150+ chooks which is all she lives for?

Tezza, you're so funny. Your solution would definitely sort out all the problems, and warrant Nostradamus' predictions invalid!

Hi all... with regard to media and my complete distaste of it.. I have discovered that it's presence in the world does have one positive effect - I never fail to giggle internally when someone says to me "you don't watch TV? (accompanied by shocked face)... what on earth do you DO???"

Inevitably my partner Gargun informs them, but he should just shush if he reads this post! :D

Why Christopher, I spend all my time on the permaculture forum gleaning untold amounts of fascinating information to put to good use for when Gar and I purchase our slice of heaven, of course. :D
