Hi all, here's an idea for growing seedlings - reuse old takeaway coffee cups - just punch a hole in the bottom for drainage.

Old toilet paper rolls are a good idea too. I'm trying those soon.

I'm not shy with the holes; I use a big nail and put at least a few in the bottom and more around the bottom quarter.
Drainage is really important, but lots of holes also makes bottom-watering easier.

I've seen a industrial bin filled with half-size tubes. I took one bag. I now have 1000 tubes too many.

Goodness knows how many went to the tip and that wasn't the first time.

I use the big yoghurt cups of plastic.
    Just make holes in bottom.
