    Agree re GM but I think part of the problem is volume too.
    The concept of vegetarianism as a predominantly affluent Western concept which has had more soy marketed to it as a safe protein substitute than it should.

    Excuse me ! over the title of the thread "How humans are not physically created to eat meat" , how you people can forget our ancestors who have everything to eat meat like animals, if we like to eat meat,this feature has been inherited from our ancestors not adopted in this age. BTW, your articles are worthy to read.
