    Hi,
I came across this forum searching for baltic pine wood putty!
This looks to be a fantastic resource; I'm so happy that I went searching for putty and ended up here.
I'm not a home owner. I've just moved to the country (originally a farm gal from way back) from Melbourne due to illness and am about to move into half of my parents shed that has already been built, plastered etc.
Due to it not being my own home I was restricted with input into materials. Although now with the bits and pieces left, some quite significant, I will be doing myself and be able to put more consideration into materials etc.
I imagine I will be popping in here a bit resourcing this knowledge bank.
    ...well... yeah .... thanks!
    :D

    Re: hello

    Hey there,

I love the avatar! An ironic poke in the eye for us all about commoditisation and consumerism. The numbering element also has sinister overtones. Long live the Australia Card-not!

And so handy to incorporate your date of birth; in case you forget it you can always come back to the forum for a reminder.

Hope you as much useful info here, and on the accompanying blog, as I have.

    Hamish

    Re: hello

    Thanks for your welcomes.
I knew the avatar would get a rise in some, I cheekily threw that in there.
And with my name being aquifier and as water is becoming increasingly one of the most sought after resources.
... and I love contradiction, because we are all contradictory.
Never thought of using the birthdate, just grabbed it from this sites gallery of icons.
    :)

    Re: hello

I know the Drouin area, I grew up in Latrobe Valley. You'll be covered in haze from the Bunyip and Yarra Valley fires, I reckon. But the area has a lot going for it, a lot more water than we have in Bendigo, that's for sure. T

    Hi Everyone!!!!!!!!
I am Markus.I have lived in Childers(QLD) for the last 24 years and have loved every moment.I have worked on several sugar cane farms and small crop farms even worked on a fish hatchery and grow out fish farm for 5 years. The last 14 years I have grown some 23 different varieties of vegetables and flowers Non-Hybrid, Old Traditional- Open Polinated and none have been genetically engeenered and no chemical treatment of the seed.It has at times been a little trying with drought and floods and not much knowledge of many different varieties but always willing to give anything a try know matter how hard things are to grow.On the average I produce anything from 250kgs-1000kgs of seed and bulbs in the year.
    Happy Growing Every one
    Regards Markus
