I am new to this forum and I suppose new to permaculture. I have been doing some work with fish, fruit, veg, chickens pigs and cattle. I can feel though that I am on the verge of taking the next (little larger step). Perhaps I can find support and advice among the good people here.

    Wish me luck!

Welcome Tim. Which part of the world is home at present? (I have no idea where Port Elizabeth is....) When you say you are working with them - are you growing them, cooking them or eating them (or all of the above)?

What feels like the next step for you?

I am in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

We are about 34 deg south. Annual rainfall about 750 mm

I currently garden on a 1500 m residential suburban site. I also graze some cattle and keep some pigs about 130 km in Tsitsikama
