Names Alex, born and raised in Saskatchewan Canada. Grew up on an organic farm, grain mostly a few cows. After high school I became a missionary with Youth with a mission that sent me around the world. I stumbled upon permaculture when studying sustainable agriculture. Currently I haven't completed any PDC, still looking for a place to take my PDC
Thanks 'No idea' I just began to study permaculture on my own after purchasing Mollison's books, the forum is a great place to sare ideas and to have questions answered that I have. The information in which permaculture is based on is unlimited and that seems to far exceed standard agriculture taught in Canada currently. Lets just say that permaculture snagged me pretty hard and I won't be going back to traditional agricultural practices any time soon.
That's good Alex I'm the same I've dabbled in permaculture for a lot of years now on a small home garden scale and am just starting to get serious. I have 1500 acres of leased land that I run Dorper sheep on and 100 acres that I own, which I have had for about 7 years now I have just moved down there permanently and have lots of half started projects that need finishing. I am really excited about getting these done and look forward to becoming a full time permie Cheers Ken
