    Hi Miss F
Our group meets the third sunday of the month, 10am at various locations in and around Rockhampton. There is also a Waru permaculture group in Yeppoon. Another group in Rockhampton is the Wandal community gardens. PM me if you want any further information.

    Re: Groups in Rockhampton

am wondering if anyone lives around the NANKIN area or knows anyone who does.

Am looking at a property out that way and am trying to find out what its like out there, soil types, bore rates, rain fall ect.

    Can anyone help?

I was told that there is a Permaculture information night, this Thursday at 6pm, at Bunnings Rockhampton. Ring them to confirm the date and time.

That plus the blatant exploitation of workers - especially Chinese workers and the removal of resilience in small towns by aggressive competitiveness.
I am a bit surprised it need explaining - I must tell Des.

I am sorry - you need to be able to do as you need to do without excessive criticism from me.

    regards

I would not have thought it excessive at all merely factual. someone needs to call a card a card.

    Re: Groups in Rockhampton

It was a very simple talk about permaculture, I learnt a couple of things. There was about 25 people in attendence. They made a display of a no-dig garden, the person doing the talk came from the Rockhampton community garden.
