It will be good to see the details of this one... https://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-07-28/greens-launch-new-farm-push/4848530
sounds like they are aping what some of us have been saying hey? well be awful hard to sell grain to people in teh city then it needs milling then natural yeast is almost unheard of, close down the broadacre farms and regrow habitat, also be somewhat difficult in these times of peek oil to buy fresh produce when in brisbane buying qld grown would be almost impossible but hey? what about north west WA?, the nearest farms you could have to brissy would be gatton and boonah way, but do it before the developers develop it. might as well be brown as green, no answers there. len
That glass look half empty to you eh Len? I'll wait to see the details before I condemn it. On face value though, anything that cuts out the greedy middleman is a step in the right direction for mine. But I'm more of a glass-half-full kinda guy I guess.
no 1/2 full grahame, 1/2 full if that molleson and holgrem have said all this before, the greens have no better answers as our gov's are controlled in teh big world scenerio, like we have no choice but to take refugees, we must donate to the monetary fund and on and on it goes, even the climate change thing we must be seen to be supporting it. they would have to get farmers living with us. len
Yeah, but on the surface the idea is sound. For an update on where the major parties (including the Greens) sit in terms of all environmental policies, see: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-06-26/environment-policy-federal-election-2013/4761774
