I'd also be interested in this. The spring copy of the Good Gardening magazine had the best diagramatic description of grafting i've ever seen. Made it perfectly clear on several techniques from memory. The tree in question was a fig. The Complete Book of Fuit Growing in Australia by Dr Louis Glowinski has a pretty good section on grafting apples. Actually I'd reccomend this book to eveyone in Australia and probably any climate that reflects that of temperate to subtropics. It covers nearly everything about everything but is slightly lacking on some of the more obscure tropicals.
