    Yes move at night but with the entrance open or they could overheat.
    The rule of thumb is 3 ft or 3 miles. Anything over 3 ft they will return to the old site. The same with under 3 miles. The older bees will return to the old site.
    To expand from a hobby to making a living is a huge jump lol

    When you move them make sure you have a screened top or bottom as they will overheat if you just seal them up. Do it after dark and it's easy. When in their new location just open the entrance and leave them. In a TBH try to have the top bars in the same direction as the direction of travel to help prevent breaking the comb if you stop quickly.
