This was shared with me this morning from someone in Godwana.
I always like watching/listening to Geoff, he's so positive.
Scary looking audience thought! I'd be seriously intimidated!
Quite a serious bunch!
I always love listening to him but this time I feel he was too nervous
to get the message across.
The Middle East is one place that need to use
their money from oil to develop their land in a more positive way
and not build skyscrapers and indoor ski slopes.
Seriously hope someone in that audience got something out of it .
Except for the 1 person texting.
They were probably saying 'this is great - you should be here'.
Bill is quietly empowering, Geoff is a fabulous salesman (still lovely on the eye ), and Ted was always the strange one (just sayin').
Bob, has, of course, gone quiet since the death of his former wife.
Having met each, and every one of these folk ... Geoff is looking a little older (as we all get, after a bit). Still gorgeous!
Enjoyed the video. I agree with Shawburn- he did look a bit nervous. He spoke a bit slower than usual, seemed very deliberate. Which isn't a bad thing, considering the audience- English not being their primary language.
Geoff always inspires.
Totally agree. I could not figure out whether he was nervous (wouldn't blame him with that audience) or was he deliberately slowing himself down and very deliberately choosing his words since he was dealing with a non-native speaker audience. I think it might have been the latter.
His positivity shines like the first warm golden rays after a long hard winter. Go, Geoff, go!
And his suit looks great although I bet it came from the second hand clothes shop and cost $10!
That's been where I have been shopping for a long long time. Pretty much ever since I realized all the big name sneakers, and clothing generally comes from sweat shops. There was a lot of discord in Berkeley, CA some years ago when someone climbed on top of a Gap store and graffiti'd that it sold sweat shop clothing. A week later, a billboard came out, on top of the store with the same information and implicated OLD Navy as well.
I find better deals on things I actually NEED vs Want in 2nd hand stores.
