I've been out of touch with Permaculture (and gardening in general actually) for a few years now, and I'm looking to be inspired to get back into it. I don't have any money for courses but are there any free garden tours going on in or around Melbourne?

    regards,

I reckon it would be free to go to 'The Garden of Eden' permaculture garden at the Albert Park Railway Station in Albert Park. I used to volunteer there & they also have a work for the dole program that runs on Wed & Thurs, last I knew, so they should be open on those days. If they are not open then go to the 'Garden of Eden' nursery on the other side of the light rail tracks & inquire there. Tell them Marika said hi? David Hlmgrens tour was $25 in Daylesford. Good to have a look & a chat about what he's doing. I would imagine CERES in Brunswick is free to look at. Good luck & let us know?
